And Halloween is coming

On the thirty-first

Go trick or treating

With my friends and family

Dressed in fun costumes

Candy everywhere

Moon shining bright in the sky

What if the pink dragon is my hero?

The Pink Dragon's sacrifice is 
encouraging students through verse, 
helping them see that communicating 
is not such a curse. 

Showing patience and wisdom 
to listen and hear, 
the joys and pains of our students 
throughout this school year. 

Giving students the courage 
to stand up and speak, 
hoping this new found courage 
will outlast the week. 

I thank you pink dragon 
for leading the way 
and lending Tomlin's ear 
for whats students have to say!
